an evil plan
I don’t take Valentine’s Day all that seriously. DJ does, but I think he just likes to shower me with gifts. It’s a good deal for me. In previous years he’s given me some wonderful jewelry. This year he went digital.

I’m typing this from a tiny baby computer. It’s the size of a piece of notebook paper. and eminently portable. So I can keep up with my blogfriends from the comfort of the sofa. Or airport, or whatever. It even has a very creepy webcam (see above, I had to try it.) That is me planted on the couch , post-run and post-shower, minus any hairbrushing. Sometimes it’s just as well there are no professional photographers in my living room.
I may have mentioned that Kid B thinks I’m kind of an idiot. Not really an idiot, just not as up to speed on the technology as his 21-year-old self. He’d be right, but I’m not all that far behind. I just don’t text or twitter, and my phone is unsmart. Anyway, Kid B thinks I’m impossibly backward, so I’m going to convince him that I think my tiny baby computer is a smartphone. I think he’ll buy it. What’s the use of being a big sister if you can’t mess with your siblings, hm?
Happy President’s Day, blogfriends. Now there’s a holiday.

You go girl… I often wish I hadn’t ever signed up for many of the various accounts… twitter, etc.
Nice job, DJ! Can’t wait to meet the new baby.
Call it an iPad and see what his reaction is
Oh… what kind did you get? I’ve been looking for a netbook. What a great gift!!
Abbie, it’s a Toshiba NB205. I really like it! It has a good touchpad, for what that’s worth.
