a vocation and an avocation walked into a bar

February 10, 2010

My new mantra.  Sorry for the swearing, it’s an emergency.

I almost-started my new job this week.  I say “almost” because it may very well be three jobs, or parts of three jobs.  It’s still unclear who my boss will be.  That’s pretty frustrating, but maybe it’s a test.  Or growing pains.  Or a dirty trick.

If you don’t hear from me, don’t worry.  It probably has something to do with jobs and bosses and maybe falling face first into a few glasses of wine.  After work, of course!  Of course!

That is a good mantra. I may need to steal it. Of course, when one works at home, parts one and two are not that difficult, really. Good luck! I hope they get this ironed out soon.

as icky feeling as they may be, i’ve found that situations that stretch you and put you out of your comfort zone almost always turn out to be positive experiences. good luck with the new job!
