every Christmas card I write
A few weeks ago Heather showed off the holiday postcards she’d designed using her wedding pictures. I loved them, and immediately asked if she would mind ripping off her idea for me. Because there’s nothing more flattering than a faceless internet person wanting to be exactly like you, right?
Heather must have a good sense of humor. She did not immediately block me from her blog, and made the Remix version that same night. I had them printed by Moo, feeling only a tiny bit like Jennifer Jason Leigh. I like tearing something open to see what’s inside, so they went in brown kraft envelopes - also from Moo.
Everyone on our Christmas list was sent one or the other, except for Kim. Kim has both, because she took the pretty pictures in the first place.
Merry Christmas to you, blogfriends! I never thought it would take me until 2010 to finish telling wedding stories, but it’s looking that way.

I loved the card (I got number 2). What a great idea and such fabulous pictures.
Harriet, I really thought you needed a picture of our feet.
Love these! Great photos to use for these. Happy holidays!
Well, it’s funny that you write this… When I received my card (the shoes) I thought ‘Gee, that one with them dancing would have been cool for this too!’ And then I see that you did do that, and sent me both… But I am still waiting for the dancing one to arrive! So I’m glad you posted this!
I am not a big fan of the US postal service. They tend to misplace our mail often.
